Seeking a magician for your party or event can seem a little daunting, search online and you are instantly presented with a wide selection of magicians and entertainers. So how does one wade through the thong of options and book up the magician that's going to deliver the goods and leave you at the end of the night grinning with satisfaction? Firstly, does the magician clearly detail what they are about, what they can offer? Does the magician have nice photos and/or a video presentation of themselves, providing entertainment ideally, or at least some decent photos of themselves? Do they have good reviews, any reviews? This is key and like most products and services purchased, generally is the deciding factor. Can they provide Public Liability insurance documents? Lastly, on the subject of price, the saying you get what you pay for certainly holds sway within the magical world, expect a price tag of £150-£400 for good quality stuff generally speaking.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

From a young age, I have been fascinated with magic and enjoyed entertaining family and friends. As I grew up my interest only deepened, as did the amount of time spent practising and researching. I'll never forget my first paid gig, the entertainment I provided and how well it was received by all, most exhilarating and a wonderful feeling. To this day I get that same feeling every time I provide entertainment for clients at parties and events.
