About Maxwell Productions

My name is DJ MAXI-J from Walsall, originally hailing from St Lucia in the Caribbean. I have been a DJ since 2003 and worked for Celebrity, Cunard and Princess Cruise lines from 2009-2019 traveling the word, as-well DJing at corporate and private events here in the UK. I accept requests and play all genera of music catering to all generations, cultures and events, from Jazzy cocktail music, Sing Alongs, Line Dance to 60's,70's, 80s 00's to the up to date top 40s/ latest tunes; Bring the ultimate energy to your party keeping the dancefloor alive till the last second.

My name is DJ MAXI, I was born-in the beautiful island of St.Lucia (in the Caribbean). I have been a DJ since 2003. After graduating from school, I joined a band as a drummer and DJ for 7 years playing at various Hotels, Community events and special occasions around the Island.

From 2009 to 2019 I sailed around the world working with Princess Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruise Line and Cunard Cruise Line as the drummer for the party band onboard and crew DJ. This experience allowed me to develop many skills, such as communication skills and has expanded my entertainment knowledge. Now I reside here in the UK, performing and entertaining at Co-operative, special and community events around the West midlands.

Typical Clients

All generations, cultures and events. Jazz, Motown, Soul, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's, Reggra, Dancehall, Indie, PunJabi, Banjar, Latin, Soca, to up to date top 40's; If its been played on the radio, we play it.

Outstanding Service

DJ Max was superb. He was no shy to pick up the mic to make announcements and interact with the crowd. His openness and enthusiasm were pivotal to our great wedding party. I highly recommend him !!

Brilliant service!

We can't thank DJ Maxi enough! He covered the exact genres of music that we requested and bought the vibes for the whole night. Our wedding guests were up partying and loved it all! Would definitely recommend!
