I’ve always a had an eye for photography since my early years in school and was often seen carrying around a standard 35mm camera with which I would take photos at sports games, friends, family and nature. Having trained originally as a graphic designer and in the field of digital video production, I understand composition, shape and texture and always try to incorporate these elements into my wedding photography.
I endeavour to make the best use of available light in order to try avoiding the use of a flash, although I do use it sporadically, if need be. I am inspired by the work of photographers such as Jeff Ascough who take an observational approach, capturing moments and expressions that make compelling viewing. As a creative reportage wedding and portrait photographer I believe that wedding photography at its best will capture people at their most natural and relaxed moments as the day goes on. My photography style is combined with a strong understanding of light, composition, and angles to create a comprehensive selection of stunning images from every wedding.
