Miss Selfie Pod

My journey began far away from photo booths. I trained as a hairstylist at just 16 and went on to work in a well-known salon in Lymington, on the edge of the beautiful New Forest. I stayed there for 15 years, and it became my second home. Eventually, I moved on to a new salon in the same town, and that change, breaking away from the familiar, was the moment I realised I was capable of more than I had ever given myself credit for. ​ I’m also a proud mum to three amazing kids. They’re beautiful, funny, and full of challenges that keep me on my toes every single day. And yes, I still get asked for ID from time to time, which I secretly love! Becoming a mum changed everything for me. I wanted to encourage my children to be bold, to put themselves out there, and to never let shyness or doubt hold them back. But I couldn’t tell them that if I wasn’t living it myself. That’s where the spark for Miss Selfie Pod came from, a dream to create something fun, uplifting, and confidence-boosting, not just for me, but for everyone who steps in front of one of our booths. ​ Miss Selfie Pod has since grown into something I’m incredibly proud of. It’s not just about photos. it’s about memories, laughter, and those moments when you forget your insecurities and just enjoy being yourself.
