Our Story
I do what I do because I’ve seen first hand how much difference the right support can make to a wedding day.
After working in award-winning wedding venues across Essex, I identified a real need for experienced, high quality wedding planners who could bring structure, calm and professionalism to what is often a very overwhelming process.
That experience inspired me to create Moments Like This Weddings, allowing me to support couples from the very beginning of their planning journey through to the wedding day itself. As my relationships with couples grew, it became clear that many also wanted help planning their honeymoon — and who better to design such a personal trip than someone who has been there for the entire wedding journey and truly understands them as a couple?
Today, my work is inspired by creating seamless experiences that feel thoughtful, organised and completely personal. From planning and coordinating beautiful weddings to curating honeymoons and destination celebrations. With a background in both the wedding and travel industries, I’m passionate about taking care of the details so my couples can relax, feel confident and fully enjoy every moment of their celebration and beyond.

Moments Like This Weddings is led by Jo, an award-winning wedding planner with extensive experience across both the wedding and travel industries. The business is built on years of hands on work within award-winning wedding venues across Essex, providing an in-depth understanding of how exceptional weddings are planned, coordinated and delivered.
Jo is a 2025 and 2026 finalist for the UK Wedding & Honeymoon Magazine Awards, was named Wedding Planner of the Year 2024 by The Wedding Directory, and has been awarded Number One Wedding Planner of the Year by E2 Media, where she is also the only recommended wedding planner for the whole of Essex. She has additionally been recognised with an Influential Woman in Business Award, celebrating her leadership and impact within the industry.
