My Artsy Party was born from a belief that creativity has the power to heal, connect and transform lives.
After moving to the UK from Jamaica and navigating the challenges of building a new life, I experienced how easy it is, especially for women, to lose themselves in the demands of work, family and everyday responsibilities. I longed for spaces where women could simply slow down, laugh, create and feel like themselves again.
That's why every My Artsy Party experience is designed to be more than an event. It's an opportunity to make genuine connections, discover hidden creativity, build confidence and create lasting memories with others.
Whether we're hosting a children's party, a glitter bar at a festival, a paint and sip evening or a Crown & Bloom creative experience, our mission remains the same: to bring people together through creativity and create welcoming spaces where everyone feels seen, inspired and connected.
Because sometimes all it takes is a paintbrush, a little colour and the right group of people to remind us who we are.

Meet Mikayla
Hi, I'm Mikayla, the founder and creative heart behind My Artsy Party.
Originally from Jamaica and now proudly based in the West Midlands, I've always believed that creativity brings people together in a way few other things can. After building a new life in the UK, I realised how easy it is for women to become consumed by work, family and everyday responsibilities, often forgetting to make time for themselves.
My Artsy Party was created to change that.
What began as a passion for arts and crafts has grown into a business that creates beautifully styled experiences for children, adults, businesses and communities. Whether I'm hosting a paint party, a glitter bar, a family workshop or one of our signature Crown & Bloom experiences, my goal is always the same: to create welcoming spaces where people can connect, laugh, create and leave feeling inspired.
I believe creativity isn't about being the best artist. It's about expressing yourself, building confidence, making memories and finding joy in the moment.

Fantastic Experience
We loved the glitter bar! Mikayla was so professional, chatty, kind and made all of our students feel comfortable. She took her time on each student and they were delighted with the make-up. Communication was great, she provided fast responses and her set up was really fast too! Would highly recommend her business, very impressed with her fab customer experience.
