What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the date of the event and what times they would like us to attend, a brief description of the event with the estimated number of guests and the venue the event is taking place along with whether it and indoor or outdoor event. With these details we can make sure we have everything we need to provide excellent services for you and your event.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly, I would ask to see photos of the provider's work so you can have an understanding of the style and quality they provide. Seeing how many customers they can provide for during the duration length of your event is also good to be knowledgeable about. You don't want to be only catering to a small percentage of guests and leaving the rest disappointed. Lastly I would make sure to read through or ask about any terms and conditions, so you are both fully aware of what to expect from each other to make your event extra special.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Little Pumpkins Face Painting was born out of love for all things creative and pretty. I have spent more than a decade as a Hairdresser and Beautician, so this type of work is definitely a passion of mine. Creating smiles and great memories for both children and adults and adding that little bit extra during an event is something I strive for.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
My favourite event to date has been Face Painting in Coventry for a Family day event. We catered for 200+ people that day and we loved it and so did they! Everyone loved the designs and the extra bit of fun we added to the event, with many smiles and laughs all round. There was no particular theme other than bright, fun and fantastic, and boy did we deliver. Add to Event has been amazing for me so far. My business is growing alongside Add to Event and I couldn't be happier. I do my part to keep associated with having their supplier badge on my website, and I always recommend to other suppliers to join the platform.
