About Norman's Wood Fired Pizza
Norman's brings wood-fired Neapolitan pizza to weddings, parties and corporate events across the north.
I'm Jack Norman. I learned the craft working alongside the founders of Rudy's, and I've been catering events for over a decade. The dough is made fresh for each event - soft and pillowy, but sturdy enough to eat standing up with a drink in your other hand. All toppings are of restaurant quality and carefully sourced. We grow our own herbs and greens in a kitchen garden in Holmfirth, a lot of which end up on the pizzas.
We arrive fully equipped and self-contained - no power or water needed from your venue. Setup takes around an hour, and from there we keep the pizza coming until everyone's fed. We've catered everything from small garden parties to 200-guest weddings, and we know how to work around weather, timing, and the unexpected.

Our Story
I'm Jack Norman, and I love pizza. For me, it's the perfect combination of life's greatest things: bread, tomato and cheese. I learned the craft at Anello Pizzeria, working alongside the founders of Rudy's. That's where I got obsessive about dough, about the oven, about doing things properly. After years in restaurant kitchens, I wanted to bring that same standard to events - proper wood-fired pizza in a field, a barn, or a car park. I spent the early part of my career mobile catering, and the urge to return to the road couldn't be ignored.
Our Team
I'm Jack, and I run Norman's. On event days I'm joined by a small team of helpers - people I've met across my years in restaurant kitchens and mobile catering who know their way around a pizza oven.
Florence, my two-year-old, is self-appointed head taste tester. She's got high standards.

Experience
Over ten years of catering experience, from restaurant kitchens to mobile events. I trained alongside the founders of Rudy's, and spent years learning the craft before taking it on the road. I've catered weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private parties of all sizes - from 30 guests to 200+. Whatever the setting, the approach is the same: turn up early, get set up properly, and keep the pizza coming until everyone's fed.
Typical Clients
Anyone throwing a party, really. Weddings are a big one - we've done everything from relaxed garden receptions to big evening parties. But also birthdays, anniversaries, corporate dos, and the occasional festival. If people are gathering and need feeding, we're happy to feed!
