We are an Edutainment, art and cultural for the people of Greater Manchester UK and beyond.

We bring traditional rhythms and music traditions of Afrikan drumming and dancing to your event, wedding, conference, birthday musical event etc

To stimulate, motivate and inspire. To promote pride through cultural awareness. To educate and entertain. To celebrate the Black Afrikan heritage. To encourage better understanding and further enhance our multi-cultural society.

My name is Abena I’m a Afrikan Cultural Heritage Consultant & Educator working across primary, secondary education.

I run Odopa Cultural Group as a mobile /Outreach Afrikan Cultural activities in the Northwest of England.

I hold MA in social work and been social work practitioner for over 20 years, therefore aware child protection ethos when working with children and young people around the world.

As well as festivals, contact Odopa Afrikan Cultural Group for your private social event, corporate event, and wedding events within the Northwest of England including Cheshire, Bradford, Blackpool. Delivering structured Traditional sport arts such as Oware game, Ampe3 game, Afrikan Drumming, dance and singing training young people aged 5–18.

Besides Festivals, schools, birthdays, weddings conferences and weekend provision, my work centres on: • Preserving Afrikan Heritage • Afrikan Cultural Activities • Developing confident, articulate Afrikan Drummers, Dancers & performers • Supporting and mentoring young people in institutions. • Growing sustainable sports arts provision in local communities

I care deeply about ensuring young people in the Northwest of England have access to ambitious, well-structured Afrikan sports arts within the community.

ABOUT ODOPA CULTURAL GROUP (OCG) Set up in 2004, Odopa has over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality Afrikan cultural drumming and sport games activities that are built for every child.

From day one, OCG was designed to be more than just a group to learn drumming, play games, singing, and dance, it was created to be a place to belong. A safe, welcoming environment where children can grow in confidence, build friendships, and express themselves freely.

Our approach is inclusive and child-centred, recognising that every child learns and develops in their own unique way. Whether a child dreams of the spotlight or simply wants to try something new, we provide the encouragement, and expert guidance to help them flourish. At OCG we support each young person as an individual, helping them discover their creativity strengths, explore their artistic, and take pride in their personal journey.
