This is where Oysterman Sam comes in. Taking up little space, he provides fresh Mersea Island oysters hand-shucked in front of you and your guests.
Oysterman Sam comes fully equipped with all he needs to cater for any event large or small. He doesn't need a kitchen or any preparation space can work alongside other caterers, and can be available with little notice.
Oysterman Sam grew up on a boat a stone's throw from the oyster beds of Mersea Island. He spent many years picking oysters on the island before moving on to sell Oysters at Borough Market, London for Richard Haward Oysters. Oysterman Sam opens thousands of oysters every week and recently ranked within the top 5 fastest oyster shuckers in the UK Tabasco Oyster Opening Championships.
