I started Nway Oo Pokhara to share the taste and warmth of my Nepali roots. Cooking reminds me of home, family, and community — and I’m inspired to bring that same love and flavour to people across the UK.

I’m Nawarat, founder of Nway Oo Pokhara. Our skilled and passionate team of chefs are fully trained with Food Hygiene Level 2 & 3, and well-versed in Risk Assessment and HACCP. We always work to the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety, delivering authentic Himalayan flavours with care and pride.

I have over 13 years of experience in the food industry, having worked in top London establishments, including The Ritz and Windsor Castle Pub, before founding Nway Oo Pokhara. Our team has proudly represented Nepali and Indian cuisine at major UK events such as the National Geographic Food Festival, Nepali Mela, and Gurkha Cup. We’ve been recognised for our authentic flavours, 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating, and commitment to quality — earning a strong reputation for delivering the Taste from the Mountains across the UK.

We typically cater to food festivals, cultural celebrations, sports events, and community gatherings across the UK. Our clients include event organisers, local councils, and festival visitors who enjoy authentic Nepali, Indian, and Asian fusion cuisine.

We hold all essential food industry credentials, including Level 3 Food Hygiene Certification, Public Liability Insurance, HACCP Plan, Risk Assessment, and PAT-tested gas and electrical equipment. Our business maintains a 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating and complies with all UK food safety and trading standards, ensuring full professionalism at every event.
