Our set up allows us to make coffee both outdoors and indoors in a very small space.

Since 2015 we've been serving coffee on exhibition stands, at weddings and parties, at street food events and pretty much everything in between across the country.

In 2019 we added an espresso martini bar to our services.

In 2021 we also took over running a cafe in Birmingham City Centre.

Hi, I’m Dave, founder of Pop-Up Coffee Bar. We originally started under the name There Goes Coffee. As our event work grew, we separated the two sides of the business, and Pop-Up Coffee Bar became the name for our mobile coffee bar service. The idea started after going to an event and being served coffee that was, frankly, nowhere near good enough. I was working in cafés at the time, and it seemed obvious to me that event coffee did not need to be an afterthought. If people can get a properly made flat white on the high street, they should be able to get one at a wedding, conference, brand launch or office event too. So we bought our first setup: an Illy Mini coffee machine, a grinder, and the essentials we were already used to working with in cafés. We built our first cart and started applying for events. Our first booking came through Add to Event — a wedding in Warwickshire. We had a brilliant time doing it, and that first event gave us the confidence to keep going. Since then, we have been lucky enough to serve coffee at events across the country, working with all sorts of clients and seeing a real mix of industries, venues and occasions. We have covered weddings, corporate events, office launches, conferences, retail activations and point-of-sale events for some exciting brands. At heart, we are coffee professionals. We care about the details: good ingredients, proper equipment, skilled baristas and a calm, professional setup. We like to think of ourselves as the coffee bar for people who want a really good flat white — wherever their event happens to be.
