When you are looking for event first aid cover, it can be difficult to know where to start.

Rapid Reaction Medical tailors medical cover to meet the needs of clients. We will also advise you on what you need, whether you require a full medical team or a single medic; we can provide cover from an event in the park to a music festival or sports area. 

All our staff are trained to the highest of standards, and we can provide evidence of training and qualifications on request. We have the following staff available for events

Our staff undergo regular training sessions and courses to keep their skill level to the highest standard and up to date with all clinical and non-clinical regulation and care updates. All staff are encouraged to keep a professional development portfolio of training and reflective accounts and this is reviewed in staff supervision so we can develop skills together.

The equipment that we use is maintained to a high standard with regular servicing and checks completed.  

All our staff are trained to complete dynamic risk assessments when working on events and know the correct procedure for reporting any risks that they are concerned about.

Our teams have access to an on call manager at all times who is able to deal with any concerns and respond to an event if required.  

Vehicles are equipped with up to date equipment enabling staff to complete their role to the highest possible standards, the vehicles and equipment are checked on a regular basis, the vehicles are serviced and maintained regularly. 

Staff complete a vehicle inspection before leaving site to come to any event (VDI) prior to using any vehicle and know the correct way to report any defects or concerns. 

Rapid Reaction Mefical have over 15 years’ experience providing event cover to the event industry. Our management team have over 40 years combined experience working within the NHS and other frontline services. 

Rapid Reaction Medical has a vast portfolio of events and clients, some of the events we cover include, Running events, football, motor sport, country shows, festivalsjust to name just a few. Over the past 15 years we have built up a good working relationship with the many local authorities and emergency services partners, especially the ambulance service having worked together on several occasions. 

When preparing for an event we provide an extensive event medical plan, we carry out pre event site visits, meeting with event organisers and other services involved in the event. 

We provide local authorities and local emergency services with any information that they require about the event and the medical cover we are providing and with larger events we liaise with the services and have a plan in place should we have a major incident take place, we also provide a site map detailing the location of our staff and medical treatment points and where vehicles will be positioned. 

And also, the location of the blue route on site which enable access and egress to the event site.

Management Team

Staff are up to date with all policies and procedures, including statutory and company requirements such as Health and Safety at Work, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH), Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 (MHOR), Safeguarding adults and children.   All staff are Enhanced CRB checked. 

Our clinical staff are all registered with their respective governing bodies, and we can provide evidence of this, i.e. HCPC, NMC.
