Experience
We have over 25 years' experience within the NHS, Private and voluntary ambulance services, as well as NHS hospitals.
Gareth began his career in First Aid with St John Ambulance when he was 17 and rose to sergeant and then Divisional Officer before leaving when he moved to the South.
During this time, Gareth also worked full time for NEAS and was a GP driver, PTS Ambulance Care Assistant, Urgent Care Assistant, and first responder.
Gareth has been blessed to work both on the "road" and in the hospital, where he was a Senior Health Care Assistant both at North East and Southampton General Hospital.
He also continued to work "Frontline " ambulance shifts for a large NHS contract through a private company.
On returning to the North East, Gareth became an SHCA for Marie Curie and provided palliative care services to patients and families in their final days.
This job was the most rewarding job, and unfortunately I had to leave due to ill health. I have been providing training and first aid at events for other companies until branching out.
