A host-style performer, spanning three decades - who elevates the entire room through music, interaction and personality. Specialising in Jazz & Swing with the adaptability to stylise any genre to match his vocal talents.

Can be accompanied by a band (as Scott & The Explorers) as a quartet for more laid-back gigs that require a cocktail bar feel or with added brass to create more of a swing band or party band vibe. Like Scott as a solo, the band specialise in jazz & swing and can also adapt to play soul, funk, blues and 'pop'.

Scott is an experienced singing waiter, having performed for various companies over the last few years and also independently. Can provide extra waiters if two or more are preferred.

I do what I do because I love it. It's a passion that never fades. When I'm not performing, all I want to do is perform. I want to enjoy what I do and make audiences happy, take them on the ride with me. I got started through a dare after going and seeing a well-known comedian live and leaving the theatre disappointed. I said to the person I was with, "I'm funnier than that." The response was 'Well, go and do it then." So I did. I wrote some jokes and set out to do stand-up comedy, which I did for several years. During which I discovered that I could sing, and gradually the music took over. I ditched the comedy, sang with several bands, did some theatre and then found my niche. 14 years ago, I went from being a 'semi' professional to a full-time singer/performer and have loved every minute on stage (except for that one night in Taunton when the Groom discovered the Bride in the Best Man's arms wearing nothing but a smile and a pair of Umbro socks. Other makes of socks are available.) I am lucky enough to have sung with big bands and doubly lucky to have a band that backs me, consisting of top-class musicians, when the need arises. I perform mostly solo, but the passion and excitement of being booked with the band is always alluring and enticing. Most of all, the need to perform and please audiences is the biggest draw.
