Hi, I’m Reed - a photographer with a love for capturing natural, meaningful moments that feel genuine rather than forced.

My approach is relaxed, friendly, and focused on helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera. Whether I’m photographing a couple, a family, a pet, a professional headshot, or an event, I’m always looking for the real moments - the smiles, details, connections, and atmosphere that make each shoot unique.

I combine a creative eye with a strong technical background, giving me a careful, detail-focused approach to every image I create. From planning the shoot to editing the final gallery, I take pride in producing photographs that feel polished, personal, and full of character.

For me, photography is about more than just taking a picture. It’s about telling a story, preserving a moment, and giving people images they’re genuinely excited to look back on.

Photography started for me as a way to capture moments with more care, creativity and meaning. I’ve always been drawn to images that feel natural and honest - the small details, expressions and connections that can easily pass by unnoticed.

Over time, that interest developed into Reed Shot It, where my focus is on creating relaxed, personal photography for real people and real occasions. I enjoy working with families, couples, pet owners, professionals and event organisers, helping them feel comfortable in front of the camera while capturing images that feel genuine rather than forced.

What inspires me most is giving people photographs they are genuinely excited to look back on - whether that’s a proposal, a family moment, a pet portrait, a headshot, or the atmosphere of a special event.

I have experience photographing a range of people, pets and events, including family sessions, couple shoots, engagements, proposals, pet photography, headshots and private events.

Each shoot has helped me develop a relaxed and flexible approach, adapting to different people, locations, lighting and occasions. I’m comfortable working outdoors, at events, and with clients who may not usually enjoy being in front of the camera.

I also manage the full process from planning and communication through to editing and gallery delivery, giving clients a smooth experience from start to finish.
