Our Story
What inspires us? It’s the thrill of watching teams crack the case, friends turn into suspects, and laughter echo around the room as everyone gets swept up in the story. We’re passionate about crafting bespoke murder mystery games—written in-house. Whether it’s a corporate team building day, a birthday celebration, or a hen party, our mission is to create memories that last long after the mystery is solved.
With over 200 talented freelance actors and a small, dedicated core team, we’ve brought immersive mysteries to clients all across the UK. Our commitment to quality, creativity, and a touch of playful humour is at the heart of everything we do—because we don’t just host events, we create adventures.
Our Team
Kieran Richardson (Events Manager): Kieran keeps the gears turning, ensuring every detail is spot on—from the first client call to the final curtain. With a flair for organisation and a cool head under pressure, Kieran helps bring each event to life seamlessly.
Jo (Game Writer & Creative): Owner of the company, and chief mystery writer, Jo is our in-house wordsmith and puzzle designer, crafting the twists, turns, and witty dialogue that make our mysteries truly unique. Her passion for storytelling ensures every event is packed with surprises and clever clues.

Nationwide Reach: Delivering unforgettable events in venues and virtual spaces from London to Manchester and beyond, with clients ranging from families to Fortune 500 companies.
Bespoke Game Creation: Our in-house writing team has crafted dozens of original mysteries, including the fan-favourite “Mission: Rogue Protocol” and fully customised games for major business launches and celebrations.
Record-Breaking Events: December is always a whirlwind, with our team delivering up to 40 events a month during peak season and managing casts of over 200 freelance actors.

Fab organisation & service
It was a pleasure organising this event alongside Red Herring Games. Joseph, Keiron, and Tippy were all an enormous help in the organisation, planning, and delivery of our evening. The actors were so accommodating to our needs and very flexible to work around an unpredictable evening. Thank you so much to everyone involved in our evening, all our guests were very pleased and we hope you had as much fun as we did.
Karen was superb!! She made it fun for all.

All very good and the actor who ran the evening was excellent
A fantastic evening of murder mystery in our own home!.. actors Philip and Liam provided a night which has been the talk of the guests ever since. Only criticism is the lack of communication from the office prior to the event… a couple of courtesy emails/calls of reassurance beforehand would have been nice and the actors were unsure of a few details on the night which should have been relayed to them prior to the evening. Other than that it was brilliant night!!
Brilliant Evening was had by all.
The evening was great. I was a bit nervous when your actor, Rayyah, handed out scripts, however I had no need to be because Rayyah made everyone feel at ease and in no time at all people were ad libing the script. Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed it and how good Rayyah was. I really made my birthday that extra bit special. Thank you.
