Hi, I'm Riley I shoot the real day, not a checklist.

I've been shooting weddings for 5 years and filming for 2. Before that I spent years shooting bands and gigs before ever shot a wedding. Big venues and festivals, crazy lighting, no second takes. Turns this chaos was a great training for wedding, and never missing a shot :)

I'm a bit of a nerd about all this, honestly. I'll happily talk cameras and edit workflows longer than is socially normal, and I'm always looking for the next thing to get good at. Right now that's split between a mountain bike, a bass guitar, and a programming projects. I'm also chronically planning another interrailing trip!

On the day, I'm relaxed, I laugh a lot, and I'm not going to make you stand stiff working through a shot list. I'll give you a nudge here and there if it helps, since a bit of direction genuinely makes for better photos, but mostly my job is just to make sure you're having a good time and let the camera catch that. The best photos are always the ones nobody was posing for :)
