My name is Ruben Diego Bari Cabral
I was born and raised in London to a family of immigrants. My mother is Guinea Bissaun, and my father is Angolan. My life is shaped by my family, and in turn, so is my worldview.
Art connects us; it’s the clearest way of communicating one’s mind. With every sentence, shot and idea, there is the weight of sharing how I see the world, so people know who I am and where I come from.
I got started at 14 and wrote my first film. Since then, I have been on this creative whirlwind.
Now, as a fresh-faced King’s College London graduate, I’m ready for what the world has for me.
