About Scratch Cook Indian BBQ
The self-contained unit houses our Robata charcoal grill, which is able to cook up 100's of portions of Lamb, Chicken, Paneer (V) and Mushrooms (Ve), each marinated in their own Indian spices, prepared by Chef Raj.
Guests get to choose one of the proteins served over bowls of Saffron Rice, Sweetcorn 'Dahl', Pickled Salad & Minted Yoghurt Sauce. Each bowl is a well-balanced meal when it comes to spice, but if a little more heat is required, we can add our in-house Habanero Sauce or Freshly Chopped Green Chillies.
Raj, chef and founder of Scratch Cook BBQ, is bringing a new wave to event catering!
Using authentic Indian flavours, Raj draws on his experience of working and living in different parts of the world to influence each of the dishes he creates. Underpinning this is a commitment to using whole food ingredients, ethically and naturally reared meats and ultimately, sharing his love and passion for all things cooked from scratch.
In its first season, Scratch Cook BBQ is quickly being recognised as the go-to food truck for high-quality, tasty, nutritious, healthy, inclusive and novel Indian street food.
Typical Clients
We provide catering solution for all types of events throughout the year. As our BBQ is self-contained within the trailer we can operate in nearly all weather conditions (hurricanes excluded!). We have experience is working with festivals, weddings, corporates and sporing events too.
