Inspired by our beloved horse, Shadow, our business was created to bring people together over exceptional coffee, great food, and genuine community spirit. Every cup we serve reflects our passion for quality, friendly service, and creating memorable experiences wherever we pop up.

We proudly use premium coffee beans and offer a full range of expertly prepared drinks, including espresso-based coffees, iced coffees, matcha, hot chocolate, teas, and seasonal specials. We also cater for different dietary requirements with a selection of dairy and plant-based milk alternatives.

Alongside our drinks, we regularly partner with some of the finest local independent food producers, including Salt Bakehouse, to offer freshly baked pastries and artisan breads, helping to showcase the incredible businesses within our local community.

You'll regularly find Shadow & Steam at village halls, artisan markets, community pop-ups, sporting events, business parks, festivals, and private functions across Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties. Whether we're serving commuters first thing in the morning or fuelling runners at an evening race, our aim is always the same: to provide outstanding coffee with warm, personal service.
