Shotgun Media

II'm Ed, founder of ShotgunMedia, a Bristol-based wedding video and photography team. Before this I worked as a photographer for Royal Caribbean International, shooting formal events, guest portraits and live shows at sea, similar work to what a wedding day demands. I'm also a Getty Images-affiliated photographer with editorial credits in the Guardian, the Independent and Politico.

For weddings I bring that same standard: a multi-camera/photo setup to capture the ceremony, speeches and first dance from every angle, drone aerials of the venue, and a fast turnaround edit so you're reliving the day in weeks, not months.

My background is split between two worlds: two years as a shipboard photographer for Royal Caribbean International aboard Wonder of the Seas (2024–2025) shooting formal portraits, events and excursions for thousands of guests. now building ShotgunMedia, a 6-camera multicam production team covering major festivals including Boomtown (Red Bull Reactor and Anara Forest stages) and Gemfest.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Photojournalism and Documentary Filmmaking, editorial credits via Getty Images in the Guardian, the Independent and Politico, and a first-place BPPA award. I'm also STCW Basic Safety Trained and DBS-checked, so I'm just as comfortable working in professional, safety-conscious environments as I am on a festival stage.
