Simon is a professional children's entertainer covering Exeter and all of the South West. With 19 years of experience, he offers a mix of fun and games, magic and comedy and amazing balloon modelling. He is a member of the world famous Magic Circle and Exonian Magical Society. He is also a proud member of Equity and has full public liability insurance.
Having performed thousands of children's shows over the last 2 decade, Simon has the skills to ensure your child has the best party ever. Simon's magic shows are fun, interactive, attention grabbing and the children are always the stars of the show. Simon is well renowned in the UK for his amazing balloon modelling, from dogs to full size motorbikes there is literally nothing Simon can't make out of balloons. He is a member of the South West Ballooniversity and performs at weddings, fetes, store openings, corporate events and parties.
For older children (8+) Simon offers a very special magic show followed by a balloon workshop. Children can have a go making some fantastic balloon creations.

Our Story
From Childhood Wonder to Professional Magic
Ever since I was four years old, I’ve been captivated by the wonder of magic and the joy of entertaining. I still remember my very first magic show birthday party — the excitement of seeing tricks up close, the laughter, and proudly taking home a balloon dog. Those moments stuck with me, and even now, I know how powerful and lasting those memories can be for a child.
As a boy, I performed puppet and magic shows for my grandparents from behind the sofa, and before long, I was taking every chance to get on stage at school. I even played Joseph in the school play and sang with the Manchester Boys Choir, performing at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall and the Free Trade Hall during the 90s. Performing was simply part of who I was — and still am today.
The Magic Begins
When I was ten, my mum bought me a magic subscription magazine — a new trick in the post every week. That’s when the obsession truly began! Before long, I discovered a little magic shop in Stockport Market, where I spent weekends learning, practicing, and laughing with friends. Magic gave me confidence, helped me make friends, and even made school life a little more fun (especially for the teachers I pranked!).
At university, I worked in a hotel and quickly realised I could earn more — and have far more fun — performing magic in the hotel bar than I did working on reception. It was then I knew: magic was what I was meant to do.
Bringing Magic to Devon
In 2007, I moved to Devon after meeting my wife and joined the local magic societies. That’s where Sicro Magic was born — my way of bringing the same joy and laughter I’d felt as a child to a new generation.
In 2008, I was lucky enough to learn balloon artistry from Graham Lee, one of the UK’s leading experts. His workshops and tutorials inspired me to add colourful, creative balloon modelling to my shows — a hit with children and parents alike! Eighteen years on, I’m still learning from some of the UK’s best magicians and balloon artists, always finding new ways to make each show unforgettable.
A Member of The Magic Circle
In 2023, I achieved one of my lifelong dreams — becoming a member of The Magic Circle, one of the most prestigious magic societies in the world. Passing the exam on my first attempt remains one of my proudest moments.
Being part of The Magic Circle pushes me to keep my standards high and my performances fresh. Every show, every balloon, every smile matters.

Our Team
I usually work on my own but have a wide network of friends and other entertainers that I trust to give a great party. Although it almost never happens (twice in 19 years), I know that if I am unable to make the booking, I know someone that can take my place if required. The last thing I want to do is let the children down.

Fantastic Entertainer!
I hired sicromagic for my daughter’s 6th Birthday Party, there were a range of 3,4,5 and 6 year olds. Sicromagic was brilliant he engaged all of them. I had many comments from parents saying their child really enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend him.

Excellent!!
Excellent service, Simon was all ready set up and ready to perform. He entertained all the kids of a variety of ages (2-12 approximately). Will definitely be booking again in the future . He was also happy to wait a little longer as a few of my guests were running late.

Sicromagic is a great entertainer and magician!
Simon entertained a crowd of rowdy kids and almost as many rowdy adults. Following his show he modelled balloons and every child seemed to have a unicorn or an aeroplane or a flower! He was very entertaining and deserved his fee
