The products we offer are called Trios. These are small balls covered in chocolate, slightly smaller than the size of a ping pong ball, but slightly larger than a quail egg. They are named as such because they're a combination of three things and, depending at what temperature they are eaten at, have a slightly different texture. Some say they look like truffles, but when eaten cold they're like cookie dough, and others reckon that when left to soften, they're more like cake batter bites. So truffles? Cookie dough balls? Or cake batter bites? Not wanting to leave anyone out, we went for all three and called them Trios! Everyone has different expectations, but all are surprised when they try them. The only consistent thing is that everyone disagrees about how to describe them. That’s why we say they’re ‘Simply Trios’. You’ll simply have to try them and decide for yourself.
My name is Adam, and I founded SimplyTrios in 2018. I've been making Trios for the past 10 years, but always as gifts for friends/family or to donate to charity events or fundraisers. People have always said they were amazing and that I should sell them but I had always dismissed the idea. Eventually, I decided to take a leap of faith and set up SimplyTrios as a business venture. The success and positive reception was immediate and overwhelming. I originally started by making and selling just three varieties, Milk Original, White Original, and Dark Original, but have since expanded the range to 10 different varieties. I continue to ensure that all Trios are handmade in house, and that things are kept as simple (and tasty) as possible.
