About Steve Phillips Photography

I am a professional wedding PR events and corporate photographer with a 30 year background in press photography. I also offer magic mirror Photo Booth hire. I am friendly, efficient and reliable and work in a professional manner. I am able to turn around pictures immediately if needed from assignments.

Our Story

I have been interested in photography since I was 13 years of age and started a career as a press photographer on a weekly newspaper at the age of 18 working for the largest newspapers in Wales before running the photographic department of the South Wales Evening post newspaper for 12 years.

Experience

As a press photographer I photographed news, features and sports events including royal visits photographing the late Queen, The King and Princess Diana as well as important politicians such as Nelson Mandela. I have also covered international rugby, the British Lions and International and premiership football. I have been self employed for 11 years and have photographed weddings alongside being a press photographer since 2005 as well as covering corporate events and working for press and PR agencies.

Typical Clients

I work for regional newspapers, private clients and organisations providing photographs and video for publication and for weddings, corporate events and business use.

Credentials

I hold the press photography qualification from the National Council for the Training of Journalists

Brilliant photographer

Steve was fantastic and we have some beautiful photos to help remember our event. He even got on the ferris wheel to get a fantastic group photo of all attendees! Thank you Steve for making our graduation ball unforgettable, for all the right reasons!

Fantastic Service

Steve was so professional and communication was excellent leading up to our event. There were a great number of props for guests to use on the night and guests loved having a print out keepsake of their evening. Thank you for providing a fantastic service for our Graduation Ball Steve :)

Absolutely fantastic

We used Cymru photo booths for our wedding on Sunday... Steve was amazing honestly I couldn't recommend him enough.. everyone who attended the wedding had so much fun with the magic mirror.. lots of different props to use it really made our wedding.. plenty of funny pictures of us and our guest to keep for memories. If your thinking about getting a magic mirror you will not go wrong with Steve!!!! Thanks again Steve

Went to plan

Steve arrived on time, set up in the tight space provided. Slow up-take but he did a great job and provided a variety of props. I would hire him again.
