Founded by Rares Tom Pasare, The Aproned Mixologist grew from a genuine passion for drinks, hospitality and bringing people together. Tom & Nick has always believed that a good bar is about more than just serving drinks. It is about the conversations, the atmosphere, the people you meet and the memories created around it. What began as a passion gradually became a career built around cocktails, wine and hospitality. Over the years, that journey has brought competitions, awards, new experiences and, most importantly, the opportunity to work with so many different people and events.

The Aproned Mixologist was created to bring that experience directly to weddings, private celebrations, corporate events and everything in between — with a team that enjoys being part of the occasion rather than simply turning up to serve drinks. We are approachable, hands-on and passionate about what we do. We like getting to know our clients, understanding what they have in mind and finding the right way to make the bar part of their event. For us, it is simple: good drinks, good people and a bar worth remembering.

With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, I have held senior leadership roles including Management, Food & Beverage Director and Venue General Manager at renowned London venues such as Bedales at Borough Market, Osteria at the Barbican, Plate Bar & Restaurant at M by Montcalm Hotel, and Solstice Restaurant & Bar at St Paul’s.

Building on this experience, I founded The Aproned Mixologist & Co, creating a mobile bar concept that combines exceptional service, professional mixology and curated wine selections. Our goal is to deliver stylish drinks experiences for weddings, private celebrations and corporate events across London and surrounding areas.

Our clients include couples planning their wedding, families organising private celebrations, companies hosting corporate events, and event organisers looking for a reliable mobile bar service. We work with people who want a professional bar at their event without having to manage everything themselves — from choosing the drinks and planning the bar setup to serving guests throughout the event. We also work with venues, event planners and other suppliers who need an experienced bar team for weddings, parties, festivals, corporate events and special occasions.
