We’re The Early Bird Bakery, an independent café-bakery in Kings Heath, Birmingham, known for standout brunch, specialty coffee and hand-crafted pastries. Everything we serve is made on-site by hand, every day, by our team of 10 chefs. For the past 7 years we’ve proudly served Birmingham, building a reputation for quality, consistency and a warm, reliable service. Alongside our café, we deliver professional catering for businesses and institutions across the city, with partnerships including Apple, Aston University and Lloyds Bank. Our Team
Co-Founded by Joe, Tim C and Tim G, all born and raised in the Black Country and Birmingham. The Early Bird Bakery is proudly owner led, with a team built around quality food and warm hospitality. Joe leads our events with the front-of-house team and is the main point of contact from first enquiry to delivery, while Tim C, our Head Chef, heads up a kitchen of 10+ chefs bringing bold, world inspired flavours to every menu, all delivered with smooth, friendly service.
Experience
Our combine number of years spent working with customers in hospitality and food service are pushing 25 years! In 2025 we were a finalist in the UKs Best Croissant Competition, held at The Savoy in London!
Trained in Birmingham, Tim C has worked all over the world in different kitchens from fine hotels in Mayfair to brunch bars in Melbourne, Australia!
Joe has years of experience running front of house teams and delivering impeccable service to guests.

Typical Clients
We provide cold catering and coffee carts to suit many events. We work with private and corporate clients to offer cold lunch and buffet options. We also specialise in our pastries and cakes offering which is curated by our in-house chefs. In addition to this, we have an extensive range of canapé for events or buffets where finger food is required.
Credentials
We're a member of NCASS, a UK body for food standards. We also hold a 5 star food hygiene rating and have done for 7 years!
