The Espresso Kart is a fully mobile speciality coffee business based in Ayrshire, Scotland, delivering high-quality coffee experiences at events of all sizes. With flexible indoor and outdoor setups, we adapt our service to suit each space, audience and brief.
We’ve supported prestigious events including The Open and The Scottish Open, and regularly work alongside leading brands such as Scania, Renault Trucks and Porsche Cars. From large-scale sporting events and festivals to corporate activations, weddings and private celebrations, we bring experience, professionalism and consistency to every booking.
We’re flexible, easy to work with and happy to tailor our offering to your specification. Our van is also available for hire, making it a standout addition to any event.

Our Story
We started Espresso Kart in 2018 with a simple idea: serve great speciality coffee and create welcoming spaces where people genuinely enjoy being. What began as one mobile coffee van quickly grew as we realised coffee is about far more than the cup – it’s about connection, consistency and showing up for our community.
Our background is hands-on. From early mornings at local events to busy service at corporate bookings, we’ve learned the business from the ground up. That experience still shapes everything we do today. We care deeply about quality, which is why we focus on the best speciality coffee, thoughtful menus and a warm, friendly service every single time.
What inspires us is people. Regular faces, first-time customers, teams celebrating wins and communities coming together. Espresso Kart exists to be part of those moments, serving coffee we’re proud of and building something meaningful along the way.

Our Team
Espresso Kart was founded by husband and wife team, Stuart and Lyndsey, with a shared vision to bring great speciality coffee to Ayrshire. What started as one mobile coffee kart has grown into a much-loved local business with coffee bars in Kilmarnock and Prestwick, alongside our epic mobile Espresso Kart.
Today, the business is powered by a brilliant team of 14 skilled baristas who bring energy, care and consistency to everything we do. Behind the scenes, our in-house bakery creates all of our cakes fresh, ensuring the same quality and attention goes into every part of the Espresso Kart experience.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and even prouder of the team that makes it all happen every day.

Great coffee, friendly service
We booked The Espresso Kart for a 2 day event for computer programmers, who are typically very picky about the quality of their coffee! Stuart arrived on time, was accommodating and sanguine about our somewhat chaotic start on the first day, and served great coffee to our attendees with friendly service. We'd definitely recommend The Espresso Kart!

Nothing but Fantastic!
We had hired Stuart to help go out to visit all of our corporate clients in Glasgow and Edinburgh for our annual Customer Appreciation Week. All the staff who worked alongside Stuart has all agreed that he was very accommodating with everything and we was nothing but a pleasure to work beside. Stuart also dealt with the high demand of coffees in such an effortless way and nothing was an issue. There was no negative/constructive feedback at all. The Marriott Hotel will be using Espresso Kart in the future that is for sure.
