About The French Pancake

At The French Pancake, we bring French-inspired crêpes, Belgian waffles and quality coffee to weddings, corporate events, private parties and special occasions. Served from our beautifully presented mobile trailer, everything is freshly prepared to order using carefully selected ingredients.

We believe great food should be simple, delicious and memorable. From classic lemon & sugar crêpes to indulgent signature creations and savoury favourites, our menu has been thoughtfully designed to offer something for everyone.

Based in Hertfordshire, we travel throughout the surrounding counties and work closely with event organisers to provide a friendly, reliable and professional service from enquiry through to event day. Whether you're planning a wedding, birthday celebration, corporate event or community gathering, we'd love to help make your event extra special.

Our Story

After spending over ten years building a successful career in the corporate world, I decided it was time to take a leap of faith and pursue a dream I'd had for years.

I've always loved French food, cosy cafés and, most of all, freshly made crêpes, so in the summer of 2026 I created The French Pancake, a beautiful horsebox-style catering trailer serving sweet and savoury crêpes, Belgian waffles and barista-style coffee.

Starting this business has been one of the biggest and most exciting decisions I've ever made. Every booking is an opportunity to meet new people, be part of special occasions and share food that I genuinely love making.

Although The French Pancake is a new venture, it's been built with an incredible amount of care, attention to detail and passion. From the trailer itself to the menu, branding and customer experience, every decision has been made with one goal in mind: creating something people remember long after the last crêpe has been served.

Hi, I'm Sian, the founder of The French Pancake!

After spending more than ten years in the corporate world, I decided to take a leap of faith and swap boardrooms for crêpe makers, turning a long-held dream into reality.

Outside of running The French Pancake, you'll usually find me out running, at reformer Pilates, or spending time with my golden cocker spaniel, Marnie, and my rescue cats. I love keeping busy, meeting new people and making the most of every opportunity life brings and that's exactly the energy I've poured into this business.

The French Pancake combines my love of French food, quality coffee and bringing people together. From the moment you get in touch to the final crêpe served, you'll deal directly with me, and I'm passionate about making every event feel relaxed, enjoyable and memorable.

I've poured my heart into every detail, from the menu and trailer to the customer experience, because I want every booking to feel as special as the event itself.

Whether it's a wedding, corporate event, festival or private celebration, I'd love the opportunity to be part of your day and help create something your guests will remember.
