Hi there! We’re Katie and Amy; two sisters with a passion for elegant wedding décor, exquisite details, and innovative design. The Ivy Cottage developed from our mutual love of all things pretty and unique. With almost 50 years’ experience in the construction industry and some top-notch joinery skills, our dad Brian completes the team.
In 2013, while searching for something to coral the clutter that accumulated throughout her home, Katie asked Brian to make her a small, sturdy, wooden storage box. Picking up a paintbrush and letting her creativity run wild, she transformed his simple, functional design into an eye-catching object that overflowed with rustic elegance and charm.
After teaming up to attend our first craft market in the same year, we’ve gone on to refine our designs and expand our range, helping over 2000 couples add plenty of personality and the perfect finishing touches to their wedding.
Using a variety of raw materials including wood, paper, acrylic, and fabric, we’ve created an extensive collection of beautiful and distinctive products. From stylish décor to rustic wooden wedding signs, precious keepsakes, and gifts, everything we produce is made by hand and packaged with care.
