Toastie the Difference

Toastie The Difference is a family-run street food business, founded in Duffield, Derbyshire, in 2018. Since then, we’ve built up plenty of experience trading at events across the UK, from food and music festivals to drinking venues, weddings, private parties and corporate events.

At the heart of what we do are our artisan grilled cheese toasties, made with proper sourdough bread and packed with great-tasting ingredients. We’re passionate about quality, coming up with creative flavour combinations and providing a friendly, professional service. Wherever possible, we prepare our ingredients ourselves, giving our food that extra bit of care and a personal touch. Our toasties really are made with love, and we genuinely think they’re pretty hard to beat!

Over the years, we’ve developed a reliable, tried-and-tested setup that allows us to serve large numbers of customers efficiently, without compromising on quality or consistency.

Being a family-run business is a big part of who we are. We love chatting with customers, talking about the food and creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. For us, it’s not just about serving a great toastie, it’s about adding to the overall event. Great food is obviously important, but we also want people to enjoy the whole experience and leave with a smile on their face.
