True Blue Ceremonies

Before founding True Blue Ceremonies, I worked for 8 years as a Registrar of Marriages and Civil Partnerships. In that role I met many lovely couples and felt honoured to be part of their special moments, but I was also aware of the constraints inherent in the traditional registrar script : its formality and limitations made it difficult to tailor the ceremony to what each couple truly wanted to say and feel on their day.

I love ceremony because it matters. A wedding is one of the most significant moments in a person’s life, and I believe that the words spoken, the structure of the celebration, and the emotional resonance of the ceremony should feel authentic, heartfelt and entirely personal. I’m inspired by the privilege of being invited into people’s stories and the trust couples place in me to help shape, express and deliver a ceremony that truly reflects who they are as individuals and as partners. Every ceremony is a creative collaboration, and seeing couples and their families moved, uplifted and celebrated makes this work deeply rewarding.
