What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Let me know what type of wedding you are looking for, together with the date, time and number of guests. If you know what your budget is that's even better. I am able to offer 3 Wedding packages to suit all budgets.
There is so much information to pass over, so it is much better to have a chat and be able to answer any queries you may have, rather than emails back and forth. Plus it is more personal.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Talk to your Celebrant, build a rapport, after all they will be a big part of your very special day. Ask what kind of wedding ceremonies they do. If you want something quirky and they offer a traditional ceremony, that Celebrant may not be the one for you.
Check with them what the ceremony consists of. Are there any extras? Most Celebrants include travel in their costs up to a certain mileage. Are there any Unity Elements included in the ceremony or are these extra.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

My husband and I got married in Australia by a Wedding Celebrant. She made the day so special and unique. Prior to us going to Australia, she asked us numerous questions. We had no idea at that time what a Celebrant did, but so glad we had one. The ceremony was beautiful and she added some lovely little touches, such as a love locket.
It was then I decided I would love to be able to give the same experience to couples in the UK. Making it their own special ceremony tailored to suit their requirements and not having to stick to rigid regulations. I successfully completed my training and I am now able to offer a similar experience to couples in the UK.
I love every minute of it from liaising with the client, creating the script and finally delivering the ceremony to family and friends.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

My service is new to Add to Event and although I have received bookings, they are not until 2021. I am lucky enough to be sent bookings most weeks. However, I am not able to pursue all of these as some couples wish for a ceremony that I do not specialise in which I turn down. A Celebrant must be happy with the type of ceremony they perform as it may not flow. I am looking forward to receiving more bookings once COVID 19 is put to bed.
