Founded on a lifelong passion for animals and conservation, Wild Encounters delivers engaging, hands-on animal encounters to birthday parties, schools, nurseries, corporate events, community fairs, and private functions. Our interactive sessions allow participants to meet and learn about a variety of fascinating species, including reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, birds, and small mammals.
Education is at the heart of everything we do. Each encounter is designed to spark curiosity, inspire respect for wildlife, and encourage learning through direct experience with animals. Our sessions are tailored to suit the age group and audience, ensuring they are both entertaining and informative.
Animal welfare is our highest priority. Wild Encounters operates in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006, and our facilities are inspected by local authority animal welfare officers. We are fully licensed, insured, and DBS checked, and all animals are cared for to the highest welfare standards.
Many of our animal ambassadors have been rescued or rehomed, giving them a second chance while helping us educate the public about responsible animal care and conservation.
With a strong reputation for professionalism, enthusiasm, and engaging presentations, Wild Encounters continues to bring the wonder of the natural world directly to communities across London.

With almost 40 years of combined experience in the animal industry, the team at Wild Encounters have dedicated their lives to working with and caring for an incredible variety of animals — from cockroaches to crocodiles.
Our experienced handlers have travelled across the South East of England, delivering engaging and educational animal encounters that both educate and enthral children and adults alike.
Through our interactive experiences, we aim to introduce people to a world beyond imagination and the remarkable creatures we are fortunate enough to share our planet with.
During a Wild Encounters event, guests may meet animals from all corners of the globe. From giant millipedes found in the rainforests of Africa, to snakes from the jungles of Asia, or lizards from the mountains of the Middle East, each encounter offers a unique opportunity to discover the diversity of life on Earth.
Our events are designed to be engaging, educational and unforgettable. We believe that meeting animals up close helps inspire curiosity, respect and a deeper appreciation for wildlife and conservation.
No two Wild Encounters parties or events are ever the same. Every experience is tailored to the audience, ensuring that each group enjoys a personal, interactive and memorable journey into the world of animals.

We are strong believers in ‘You can’t love what you don’t know‘ and what better way to convey this message to the animal lovers of the future than by introducing them to some of the amazing animals in our care
