Rob's background in performance arts, coupled with his other interpersonal professional skills, make him an ideal addition to your event, as he engages with you and your guests and provides a light hearted approach to the art of astonishment in relaxed and informal moments, as well as more structured cabaret stage performances.
Amongst his other skills, Rob also has a doctorate in nursing, which makes him particularly adept in providing magic experiences to people and patients in health and care settings, through being sensitive to the varying needs of his audiences.
He provides his own sound system where required, or can link into the set up at a venue. He also offers filmed and edited records of the guests enjoying the magic at your event
Rob is a member of the Magic Circle, the Wessex Magical Association and English Equity. He carries professional indemnity insurance

Wonderful! More than Magic - Rob creates Memories!
Rob was simply wonderful at my 60th Birthday lunch at Lympstone Manor, Devon. From the moment he arrived, he brought such warmth and ease to the room. He was completely professional, but also so kind and genuinely lovely and engaging with everyone. He has that rare gift of being funny and personable while making each guest feel individually included from the youngest to the oldest. The laughter, the amazement, the smiles at his amazing magic was infectious – everyone adored him. Rob brought such joy and energy to the celebration and truly added something very special, creating real magical moments and I am so grateful he was part of it. Thank you Rob, you were just fantastic! Highly recommend. 5*****

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had the best experience having The Big Foolini perform at my husband’s 50th birthday party. His magic was absolutely brilliant — funny, clever, and left everyone amazed. He worked the room perfectly and brought such a fun, exciting energy to the night. Guests were talking about him long after he’d finished, and the only thing that went “wrong” was the Rubik’s Cube trick… which actually made it even funnier and more memorable! It certainly didn’t take away from the show — if anything, it added to the charm. I honestly couldn’t recommend him more. If you’re looking for someone who will wow your guests and make your event unforgettable, book him.
Pure Magic!!
Rob provided an excellent show to a very mixed audience of various ages. The evening contained many tricks and illusions and we were still left at the end of the evening asking 'how did he do that?' A good sign that he's very practised. The children were very eager to participate and accompanied Rob on the last tour of close up tricks round each of the tables - a bit like the Pied Piper! All in all, a very entertaining evening and professional throughout the booking process, set up and delivery. Thank you Rob.
Rob was incredible!
We had Rob come to our pre-dinner drinks reception for our very small wedding with 2 families that had not met before as a bit of an icebreaker and entertainment whilst we had our photos done. He was so so good. The tricks were fantastic, my magic loving new husband was in awe of some of them! Rob was also just so calm and friendly, exactly what you need on a stressful day. A highly recommend The Big Foolini!
