The Blue Rinse are a multi-award-winning 5-piece male live covers band + DJ (keys, drums, lead and bass guitar, lead and backing vocals for smooth harmonies), with a passion for performing and over 22 years’ experience. (Started young! ) We don’t just play songs—we bring them to life.
Specialising in an eclectic mix of feel-good hits, mini-themes, unique mashups, and medleys across genres and decades, we create a unique, personalised evening of music that blends your requests with our diverse repertoire. Every engaging performance is designed to bring your guests together for a celebration full of energy and joy!
* Weddings: 3x 60mins live sets, starting with your first dance, Events: 2x 60mins sets (+ background music via sound desk during dinners), complemented by our DJ before, between and after band sets, to maintain momentum for a well-balanced evening bursting with music and merriment!
* Our consistent fixed band of friendly and energetic musicians thrive on entertaining, and our couples often tell us our camaraderie is clear and welcoming, encouraging guests to feel relaxed to get involved on the dance floor!
* Self-contained, providing all the equipment we need and when it comes to setting up – well, we are a well-oiled machine!
* Closely supported by our sound engineer for best sound quality & volume, enabling us as musicians to remain fully focused on performing and engaging with you and your guests and we provide professional lighting for the band’s performance/dance floor area.
* Skilfully arranged personalised sets are planned with care, for all ages & tastes to enjoy. Along with our expertly chosen songs from our diverse repertoire and your requests, our energetic and captivating performance is infectious and creates a fun and uplifting atmosphere to unite you with family and friends!
* We also offer live music c/o our Pianist / Acoustic Duo / Solo Singer during ceremonies, drink receptions and dinners & decor lighting hire!

What an incredible band! They were brilliant!!
I knew exactly what I was looking for when I found these guys and they were everything I hoped for and more! The dancefloor was rammed all night and they played an amazing mix of tunes so there really was something for everyone! They absolutely made my night one to remember! Great musicians with a great vibe who clearly love what they do. I would certainly book them again and you should too! Professionals to the max! Booking The Blue Rinse Band was easy and I felt totally taken care of all the way through the process. They even gave me a birthday card which was a lovely surprise. Thanks boys! I will definitely see you again soon, I had the best night ever! Thank you for everything. Tish xxx
