About Isle of Wight Cookery School
Our focus is on providing quality food and service. We source ingredients as locally as possible for both the catering and the cookery school. I am based on the Isle of Wight and will come to your home or your holiday rental. Designing a menu with you so that it is what you want, then cook it for you in the kitchen. We will serve it and ensure the kitchen is clean at the end of the evening. Catering includes private dinners, parties, celebrations and more. Originally, we were based in Oxfordshire and known as The Late Chef. Following the pandemic, we restarted the business and changed the name to the Isle of Wight Cookery School.
The Isle of Wight Cookery is a new online school based on years of teaching at cookery schools, including the Women’s Institute Cookery School. I have developed a range of courses which will be available online plus I can deliver corporate team building events for geographically spread teams to enjoy a relaxing time together learning new skills!
I am based in Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight. I serve clients on the Isle of Wight. If you are interested in hiring the Isle of Wight Cookery School for an event on the areas on the mainland, i.e. Lymington, New Milton, Milford etc. and anywhere along the coast of the mainland, ferry travel cost will be part of the quote.

Delicious food, lots of it and excellent service
We had crostini starters to keep everyone happy, and then a great buffet selection, with some sweet dishes as well. All of the food was hand-cooked and delicious. The pork pie and chocolate torte were amazing. All of my guests we very happy with the food. It was also very easy to eat. I would highly recommend

Brilliant Service - would use again
I booked the Late Chef for a 40th birthday party meal and I can’t recommend him enough. Paul’s communication was great throughout, accommodating any menu and number changes. On the evening itself the food was fabulous, enjoyed by all and we were completly looked after by Paul and his wife. I wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
Made a great evening Perfect!
A Superb 3 course dinner for my wife's surprise 30th! Paul was fantastic designing the menu with me beforehand, even tailoring it for one of our guests gluten free allergies. Before the event, Paul was always quick to respond, answering any questions and being fully flexible to exactly how I wanted the evening. On the night Paul and his wife were fantastic, even bringing ingredients grown in their own garden adding a real personal touch. The food was fantastic and the kitchen was left spotless! I'd have no hesitation in recommending Paul or using The Late Chef again. Many Thanks!
Professional, personal and efficient
The Late Chef provided a buffet for a funeral commemoration in the village hall. They turned up exactly on time, got everything ready and waited patiently to serve the buffet as proceedings took a little longer than expected. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was to a high standard. After the event they tidied everything away which made it a lot easier for us.
Delicious food
We hired The Late Chef for a party at our house. We had a very useful meeting with the owner/chef Paul Bellchambers a few weeks before and he brought some starter and pudding tasters for us to try. Paul arrived promptly to set up on the day of the party and with his two staff created a wonderful Mexican meal for 40 people. The food was delicious. Afterwards the kitchen was immaculate which was a treat for us not to have to tidy up the next day! I would absolutely recommend Paul and will definitely use him for future events.
