About The Red Olive Catering Company
The Red Olive was founded in 2001 by Charlie Thellusson. Charlie's dream was to create restaurant quality food twinned with exceptional service. 15 years down the line and nothing has changed, in fact Charlie's dreams have only gotten bigger. The company has changed but the underlying idea is still present – “exceed in excellence” every time.
We can cater for any occasion, specialising in larger events starting from 50 up to 900 guests. We pride ourselves on not just creating interesting and tasty food, but on managing your whole event for you. We have a fantastic team of managers, chefs, coordinators, kitchen assistants and service staff. All friendly, fully trained and bags of fun to have around!
Please note: In summer we do not cater for any events under 50 guests.
In October - March we are much quieter and because of this we can offer great discounts on our wedding, corporate and private events.
Typical Clients
It is very hard to describe a "typical" client, as every event we cater for is bespoke. We can cater for all sorts of events from weddings, corporate sit down meals to canape receptions and bowl food events. We are based in Derby, city centre and cater for events up to an hour away from our unit.
