The Whole Hog specialises in tailoring menus to our clients specific requirements. As chef/owner of The Whole Hog I have over 30 years experience as a chef with over half those years specialising in event catering. Having had to close our doors over the pandemic we are back!

Exceeded our (high) expectations!!!
We used Chris to cater for a very small and intimate wedding party.
I can’t praise the service enough. Chris’s comms were exceptional … we felt immediately at ease during the planning process, which was a must since the wedding was such a small affair. It was also an LGBT wedding so finding someone we felt utterly comfortable with was non-negotiable. Chris did this effortlessly!
On the day Chris turned up on time at our accommodation, and was ready to receive us with canapés and champagne when we returned from the ceremony.
The meal he served was beautifully presented, delicious, and copious. We didn’t lift a finger for the entire evening and felt truly spoilt.
We had an array of dishes which were all standout. Utterly superb!

Canapes to dream of and enchanted guests
Chris Geer of the Whole Hog arrived at 5.30pm and as over 50 guests (ages between 25 and 80) arrived from 6.30pm onwards, a stream of delicious, beautifully presented and wonderfully different canapes arrived and arrived and arrived. Our Dorset guests are used to our Christmas parties but now 2 days later we are receiving a stream of thank yous in which the delicious inventive canapes feature, and that this was THE BEST of our many Xmas parties. We chose a mix of hot and cold and also from the meat, fish and vegetarian sections. The sauces with the beef, the duck and the tuna were distinctive, well matched and really good. Chris is kind helpful, left the kitchen in a clean/clear state and was super professional throughout. Thank you Chris.
Fantastic Service & food. Worth every penny
’The day The Whole Hog came, they blew us away. They were fabulous, the food was beyond expectations, and we couldn’t recommend them enough. So pleased that we choose them to host our event. Nothing was too much trouble & everything was just amazing. Very happy indeed.

Cannot express how amazing The Whole Hog were catering for our event. We were receiving compliments on the night and continue to have them flood our way. Chris was exceptional catering for all our needs professionally. A big shout out to all his staff whom had the food displayed and presented. Food was the best sharing platters I have ever experienced. As one of the hosts for our event I send a big applause from us all thank you! We will certainly be in contact again
