What is a Turkish toastie? TOST is a classic Turkish street dish; a grilled cheese sandwich stuffed with spicy Turkish sausage and oozing kasar cheese. Outraged by its absence from the UK street food scene and fuelled by a cheesy hunger, TOST has stormed into London serving the classic recipe alongside a range of cheesy wrong’un friends, inspired by Middle Eastern flavours. All chased perfectly by crispy homemade baklava and indulgent Turkish coffee and tea. We’re entering uncharted territory with our risqué marriage of bread and cheese, but we’re pretty sure you’re going to like it.

Baz and Will met a long time ago in a university not so far away, while still innocent (and clean-shaven) students. Having originally sold their souls to the city, in 2016 they decided to start repaying their karmic debt whilst acting on their shared love, cooking (actually eating). Out went the suits, carefully coiffed hair, and PowerPoint slides, and in came the aprons, beards, and cheese. No longer would they make the rich richer, but spread joy in the streets of London with the universal drug of happiness: food. Inspired by their confusing cultural heritage, diverse travels, and love of cheese, they set on bringing Tost to life.
