About Bristol DJ

Bristol DJ is a mobile DJ service that cover the span of generations from 60s to modern chart music. During this time, musical styles have changed significantly and requests are often made to cater for the very young to the very old. Generally, the elders enjoy a trip down memory lane with 50s rock and roll to 70s rock. Everyone loves the 80s and it’s often surprising how many of the youth love it too. 80s and ‘cheese’ is a favourite at hen parties and mid-age parties. We provide the full range of music, tailored to your taste.

If you’re musical taste is more upfront and specialised for urban styles such as RnB, disco, hip hop, reggae, afrobeat, house & garage, then we provide this service under our alternative brand, Urban Central Sounds.

Our service is family friendly and we are available to entertain at your Birthdays, Weddings, Club and Large Corporate and Social and Outdoor Events. We will work with you well before your event date to understand your preferences to plan the right music for your celebration.

50th Birthday Party!

Highly recommend Mel. He was a fantastic DJ who played brilliant music all evening, which kept everyone on the dance floor. Really professional, easy communication to make it the best night for my party! Everyone thought the music was fantastic! Great sound and lights! Thanks Mel for making it a great night!

Festival party for 50th and 21st birthdays

Mel was absolutely fantastic from start to finish playing 7 hours of non-stop dancefloor hits, mixed superbly! He created an evening to remember - best DJ ever!!

Brilliant DJ to keep the dancefloor full!

Had an absolutely brilliant wedding which Mel directly contributed to. The music was so good, Mel read the room really well and played some absolute cracking tunes. Would highly recommend him, thanks for a great day!

Great DJ!

Very friendly and professional DJ for my husbands 30th birthday party. Great music, perfectly themed for our event. Unfortunately we lost out on about 20 minutes of music because of issues with the venue, but this isn’t the DJs fault but he handled the situation very well. We were gutted to have lost 20 minutes of his great music! Would definitely recommend to other people to use.
