About Virtu Desserts Ltd
We're a small family-run business, that has gelato in our DNA! Papa Luigi has been creating delicious flavours in both Italy & the UK for over 40 years, passing on his passion to both sons & his nephew, Fabio.
Our gelato is diary-free, suitable for vegans & we guarantee, you won't have tasted better! We also compliment our gelato with freshly-made cannolis, bubble waffles & brownies. Depending on your needs, we have ice cream carts, trikes and display freezers to cater for any type of event.
We only use the finest ingredients and have great relationships with the best producers all over Italy, meaning that you'll be getting the best gelato this side of Roma! We can serve your guests in cones, cookies, waffles or cups and to keep the kids excited , we also bring along sprinkles, sauces and our delicious vegan cookies.
We have 9 standard flavours that we have perfected, but any special requests are more than welcome. We have amazing recipes for almost any flavour.
Typical Clients
We have mainly been catering at festivals and local markets in SW London, perfecting our recipes along the way. However, since the pandemic, we now deliver to our lovely customers via branded pots also.
We have an amazing regular pitch for summer 2020 down by the river Thames in Putney. It's a beautiful spot to serve gelato and we feel very blessed to be back out serving again!
We catered for 300 people at a charity award ceremony at Studio 338 by the London 02 over the Christmas period. Having received amazing feedback, we're confident we can offer an amazing service for parties up to and in excess of 250 people.
