Our Story
Wishful Events was created from a genuine love of bringing people together and creating meaningful experiences for children and families. With a background in events, theatre and a natural strength in organisation and coordination, I have always been drawn to planning, styling and managing the details that make a celebration feel effortless and special.
As a parent myself, I understand how important these milestones are. I also understand how overwhelming planning can feel. That’s what inspired me to build a service that combines creativity with calm, structured planning — so families can enjoy the moment without the stress behind it.
Over the years, I’ve developed a reputation for being highly organised, reliable and calm under pressure. I take pride in managing timelines, suppliers and logistics with precision, while also bringing a creative eye to styling and concept development.
Our craft parties were born from a love of hands-on creativity and giving children something personal to take home — not just party bags, but something they’ve proudly designed themselves. Watching children build confidence through creativity is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.

Wishful Events is led by a passionate founder with a strong background in event planning, coordination and organisation. Known for being highly organised, creative and calm under pressure, she brings both structure and style to every celebration.
As a parent, she understands the importance of creating meaningful experiences for children while ensuring the planning process feels seamless and stress-free for families. Her attention to detail, supplier management skills and hands-on coordination ensure that each event runs smoothly from start to finish.
Supporting Wishful Events is a small team of trusted freelance party hosts and assistants who share the same values of reliability, creativity and professionalism. All team members are carefully selected, experienced working with children, and fully DBS checked. They are confident leading craft activities, engaging young guests and managing events independently when required.
Together, the team is committed to delivering beautifully organised celebrations and inspiring, hands-on craft experiences that children genuinely enjoy.

Experience
With a background in stage management, I developed a strong foundation in logistics, timing and behind-the-scenes coordination — skills that now form the backbone of every event I deliver. Understanding how to manage moving parts under pressure has been invaluable in ensuring celebrations run seamlessly from start to finish.
I went on to spend six years working within the bridal and wedding industry, refining my eye for detail, styling and client service. That experience shaped my understanding of luxury events, supplier management and the level of precision required to execute milestone celebrations flawlessly.
In 2018, after gaining the confidence to step out independently, I launched my own company. Since then, Wishful Events has grown through reputation, referrals and consistent delivery of beautifully organised events.
Over the years, my work has been featured in Kara’s Party Ideas, and I’ve collaborated with respected brands including Hush. I’ve also had the privilege of working with A-list celebrity clients, delivering events with discretion, professionalism and meticulous attention to detail.
Each stage of my journey — from stage management to weddings, to building my own brand — has shaped the calm, organised and creative approach that defines Wishful Events today.
