You’re getting married, how wonderfully exciting! You may be already thinking about: the location for the event, what colour theme, the menu, how many guests to invite……the list is endless. Yet the most personalized thing that will truly represent the love you have for each other is the actual ceremony. This is sometimes, regrettably, an after-thought.

Ceremonies created and delivered by a Celebrant can be: personalized, beautiful, funny, emotional and so much more. You can write your own separate vows and share the story that led you to your wedding day, all in one fabulous ceremony. Working together, you and your Celebrant can create your perfect ceremony.

But there is more. The most fantastic thing about having a Celebrant is that they can conduct a ceremony anytime, anywhere! Outdoors or inside, daytime or evening, New Year’s eve at the strike of midnight or on a warm summer’s evening. Not only that, but you will meet the Celebrant long before your wedding, so a familiar, friendly and encouraging face will be there with you on the day.

Currently, Celebrants cannot legally marry couples. So you will need to legalize your marriage at a Registry Office, this can be just you, your partner, and two witnesses. Many couples do this the week before the wedding, so the visit to the Registry Office is just to get the legal bit sorted. For most couples, it is not until they say their vows in front of their family and friends, in a ceremony personal to them, that they truly feel married.

I am known as someone who can put people at ease, entertain, give reassurance and inspire self-confidence. Humour, honesty, laughter, and joy are what my ceremonies are all about.
