Claire & Umberto did not disappoint! The food and service was exceptional. Claire was one of the first to reply to my initial quote request, and met the brief perfectly. The communication through out was excellent & a vital part to keeping us confident we had chosen the right chef & service.

We were offered a great menu choice and we selected Umberto's signature dish Arancini Ragu, followed by Pork Belly and Lemon Meringue Cheesecake. Everything was cooked to perfection.

Myself & My sister are both coeliac and this was never an issue.

I would highly recommend Hungry Chefs. Claire helped me plan a menu that was exactly right for my 50th birthday with canapés for kids and adults then a lovely main, dessert and cheese for just adults. There was plenty of food, it was all delicious and Claire and Umberto were so efficient, happy and calm, they fitted in to the party perfectly. Nothing was any trouble and they not only prepared the food and the setting but also cleaned up and packed up all the leftovers for us to enjoy he next day!
Such a lovely occasion, I couldn’t recommend more highly.

We had the pleasure of being catered for at our holiday accommodation by Hungry Chefs. It was a special occasion and what a special experience. The food was just simply delicious! We were very impressed with the chef! Both the chef and his wife were really lovely and friendly which made the experience relaxed and enjoyable. They knew when to keep back to let us have our time together and when to come in too. They even left us some extra sorbet palate cleanser which was amazing. If we're down this way again on a break we'll definitely be booking them again. Thanks again to you both!

We booked Umberto and Claire only 10 days in advance to cater for a birthday dinner party, after they responded to an advert I put on to ‘addtoevent.co.uk’. Their communication was really prompt and clear, and their menu had lots of choice - so much so that we struggled to narrow it down to two choices for the party to choose from for each course. They arrived on time and were really friendly and warm, but also professional. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We couldn’t have asked for more and wouldn’t hesitate to book them again. Thanks for a great evening!

Fantastic service nothing was too much and they left the kitchen spotless, not to mention the fact the food was amazing!

The process to create this amazing menu, all of which was gluten free, was painless and efficient. I truly enjoyed working with Claire to make our dinner party such a success. The quality of ingredients, presentation, service was incredible and I cannot thank these guys enough for making our guest of honour feel truly spoiled. Just to note this was a private dinner party for 11 guests. All was done in a rental property in the Bournemouth area. Hungry Chefs catered this whole event in an unknown kitchen without a problem! A+++

We used Hungry Chefs for a special meal to celebrate my Mum's 70th birthday whilst on holiday in Devon. It was a real pleasure booking through Claire who took the time to get to know a little more about our evening, my Mum's background and dietary likes/dislikes. Umberto created a wonderful menu for us and came prepared with all he needed to deliver a truly spectacular meal. Delicious fresh scallops, melt in the mouth lamb and a divine light lemon pud. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. I can highly recommend Hungry Chefs for others out there looking for a delicious, high end meal served in your home.
