About Beano The Clown
I work as a clown. I perform shows for children, in 1 or 2 hours, for -5s and +5s. In a 1 hour show I do a magic show and make balloon animals over everyone, with a special balloon for the birthday child: a motorcycle with 5 balloons for a boy, a tweety bird on a perch for a girl.
In a 2 hour show I do the magic, the balloons and games. For the -5s, I usually do a 1 hour show with 2 songs on the guitar, a magic show with a glove puppet and balloon animals for everyone. In public events, I can do a set show and make balloons for everyone, or do some walkabout, using magic, music, juggling and balloon modeling, or a combination of both. I have been a clown since 1993. I am a member of Equity and Clowns International. I have a public liability insurance and a CRB check.

A quiet and gentle Clown
Beano arrived in plenty of time to get make up on and be ready to entertain our guests at the BBQ.
He's not an 'in your face' kind of clown, more quiet and gentle but he kept the children entertained with his balloon modelling and juggling.

It was a fantastic experience for chlldren
Bernard is very friendly and helpful person. He was very accommodating with our last minute changes due to weather. Our plan was to do our event in the playground but due to weather we have to do it inside the school building. He was very reasonable in his prices as compared to others who gave us a quote. He was nearly half the price. There were few complaints about inappropriate use of words in front of children.
Overall, children enjoyed their balloons very much. Bernard is very good at his job.
Calm and quiet, had the kids hooked, and laughing!
We booked Beano for our son's 5th Birthday last summer, and he was an absolute hit. A lovely guy, calm and punctual (came quite a distance to our small town via public transport), and from the moment the kids saw him he had their full attention, and laughing A LOT! The balloon animals were a perfect touch, and he created one for every child, noone went without unless they didn't want. We had 30 kids! Certainly made a special birthday very memorable! Thank you very much.
Brilliant entertainment
Beano came for our little one's first birthday and our son was absolutely mesmerised by him. He also made all guests their own balloon animal which was fab. Communication was great and Beano was punctual. Great service and thoroughly enjoyed
