I first dreamed up the idea of Brew Box in early 2014. After a month or so of deliberation and research, I started designing and searching.
After lots of planning and many a failed auction, my dream finally came to reality after winning the bid on a 38 year old horse trailer off Ebay at the end of the summer. Together with my wife Emma and dog Rufus (well not so much Rufus) we have modified and restored Brew Box to what it is today, “a ‘pop up’ vintage horse box craft beer and gin bar.”
We adopted the simple ethos of affordability, simplicity and renew-ability to create a truly unique serving experience for you to enjoy. Wherever possible we have up-cycled dis-used pallets, scaffold boards, donated wood and bought the vintage fixtures second hand to maintain the aged look. Emma is also a dab hand on the sewing machine, and has made the fabric bunting from scraps of donated and recycled fabric.
Together we share a love of a decent party, craft beer and gin. It is this and our 28+ years of combined experience in hospitality, that we believe we can provide a perfect day/night for you and your guests. Our bar can accommodate no end of party-goers and will provide all the necessary ingredients for a shindig. Weddings, festivals or corporate events, we can do them all. As well as our signature craft beer and gin, we also provide bottled lagers chilled wine and cider. We can also provide bespoke cocktails, specialist whiskey, super strong ale, Pimms, or even tea.
