Celebrant Sally Bawden

Sally just recently performed our wedding ceremony at the Post Barn in Berkshire. Having contacted her through this website, she did a fantastic job navigating us through the whole process of what we would like to say, what she needed from us and also making sure we had everything prepped and ready. She did all this from the other side of the world as well. On the day Sally navigated us through the whole ceremony with witty, loving and kind words about us as a couple and with a few extra bits thrown in for good measure. It's safe to say that every single guest mentioned how great she was during the ceremony.

Sally has just conducted our blessing ceremony on Saturday 3rd June. We found Sally by chance but can honestly say from the moment we talked she felt right!! My now wife and I had married in Sri Lanka few weeks before but went as a couple as some family couldn’t travel that far. We decided to have a blessing on returning with the whole family included in my dads 75th!!! Sally kept checking on us and asking us what we wanted and how we would like things etc, a few zoom calls and my parents were round and the banter and stuff Sally and my parents had was amazing! After the call my parents said book her now she has the same personality as us!!!! Booked and so happy we did!!! Sally is Amazing and now a friend for life!!!!!!! ❤️❤️

Sally is so kind and friendly! She made our service exactly how we wanted, relaxed, funny and welcoming! Everyone who was there said how fantastic she was and thought we knew sally personally as she got along with us so well! Sally made our day amazing from start to finish. So much effort, organising and energy went into making our ceremony personal and fun. Sally made us feel at ease straight away and nothing was too much trouble. The result was a ceremony that both we and the guests really enjoyed and will remember for years to come! Sally is a wonderful, warm celebrant who helped create the perfect ceremony for us in only 8 weeks! She made herself available as often as we needed via Zoom or over the phone, always being on hand for advice or reassurance. We loved working with Sally as she makes you feel extremely at ease and is also great fun. We enjoyed creating our story with her and she clearly enjoyed telling it. Sally made sure the whole ceremony ran smoothly by soothing nerves, ensuring people involved in the ceremony knew their roles and even assisting with button holes, musicians and photographers.
