Cruickshank's

Trevor did a lamb roast for my birthday ceilidh. I loved it (specially the crispy bits!) and I have had countless compliments on the food, as well as friends sending me photos of what they have been getting up to with the yummy leftovers.

Trevor made it so straightforward. He accommodated all dietary requirements easily, communicated very responsively, and was a very kind and calm presence on the day. A real pleasure to have at my event, and I would highly recommend him.

Trevor was amazing. From first contact to when we waved him goodbye. He was a great communicator, very flexible, friendly and kind.

On the day of our family cream tea, Trevor turned up bang on time, with all the food, crockery, cutlery and decorations. He had produced the most magnificent food, delicious sandwiches, wonderful cakes, extraordinary scones with cream and jam. I, personally, have never had a tea of this standard.

Trevor set it all up and cleared away all with a smile and a helpful, kind approach. He made our day.

In July we hosted a family reunion for 18 in the garden.
The best element of the preparation was finding Trevor! It meant that all the 'stress' of catering disappeared in a flash, and I could enjoy being with my family instead of going crazy in the kitchen.
From the start Trevor could not have been more helpful. He devised 2 menus for a summer buffet, and I chose my favourite dishes from each to make a perfect meal.
Everything was so fresh, colourful and beautifully displayed, but above all totally delicious.
Crockery and cutlery provided, all clearing and washing up done - wonderful!
I cannot praise Trevor enough - hie culinary excellence, communication skills and lovely personality.

The food was excellent, everyone enjoyed it. The portion sizes where also excellent. We would happily use Cruickshank's Catering service for future events. Preselecting the food, arranging the delivery all worked with ease, very efficient.

Trevor presented us with a brilliant buffet which everyone really enjoyed. The quality of the food was better than we expected and the level of service was excellent. Many asked who did the food as they were also presently surprised and may well ask for his services in the future. We will certainly go back to him when we need a food buffet again. This was a great Caribbean BBQ. Trevor was pleasant to deal with and the food was lovely.

I booked this for some friends at short notice for their anniversary. They said they had a lovely evening, the food was lovely and the service was great and would definitely use again.

Trevor was very quick to show interest regarding the event I posted. He quickly provided me with all the information and flexibility regarding the order.
On the day Trevor, was very prompt with the delivery and extremely friendly. He also was very kind towards my dog.
The food was so delicious, we were worried about the portion size (4 adults) as the food came in small oven proof dishes. This was absolutely the right amount of food.
One thing I would like to suggest to Trevor, is to add a very small, thing layer of sugar in the creme brûlée, as it was very chewy and hard to break and the creme wasn't as creamy and luscious as I would have hoped. That said it was tasty.
I would recommend Trevor.

We cannot recommend Chef Cruickshank and his team enough, they delivered a first class evening at incredibly short notice. The menu was fantastic. Exceptional value and quality in both the service and the food. Dont hesitate, book Cruickshanks for your next venue... we have already!
