Darren Snelgar is a close up magician. Darren Snelgar is a member of the prestigious Magic Circle in London and one of the South’s leading professional close up and ‘sleight of hand’ magicians. He has been performing magic for adult audiences for more than 10 years.
His magic is strong, fresh and very entertaining. Darren can be on hand at your event to entertain your guests by performing astonishing magic right in front of their eyes. Darren’s magic gently gets your guests directly involved – even to the point where it’s happening in their very own hands! Perfect for any function, party, wedding reception or corporate event.
Darren’s unique style of magic combines cards, coins, sponge balls and everyday objects. He can truly captivate an audience – whether it’s for 10 people or 200 – all your guests will be truly amazed and your event will be remembered and talked about for a very long time!
Although Darren is based in Southampton, He is available to perform in Portsmouth, Winchester, Bournemouth, Hampshire, Dorset, and London.

Absolutely brilliant!!!
Darren was absolutist brilliant from the get go, he arrived early and begun performing! Every guest was blown away with magic they were seeing. Can’t recommend Darren enough and will 100% be using him again in the future. Book him!!!
